About the band

Life Size Models are a 5-piece indie rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area. Chris and Stephen Seymour, identical twin brothers at the core of the band, began writing melodic and energetic songs with the goal of one day living up to their own larger than life musical heroes, or “models”.

In 2019, LSM released their first single and caught the attention of legendary Bay Area tastemaker Aaron Axelson. The reception resulted in terrestrial radioplay for over 24 weeks and multiple appearances on Bay Area based TV series: CW’s “B-Sides”, & "Soundwaves TV”.

In 2020 and 2021, the band further established their reputation as an engaging live act by supporting international headliners Circa Waves, Michigander, and Bartees Strange.

With new recorded music on the horizon, the band is setting their sights on long-admired alternative music cornerstones - Sirius XMU, ALTNation, KEXP, Audiotree, NPR, Noisepop, & Bay Area Outside Lands Music Festival.

Life Size Models have been compared to Chris and Stephen's own musical idols: Arctic Monkeys, Sam Fender, The Strokes, The National, Frightened Rabbit, and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
